Our Center is open from 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., year round, Monday-Friday, and closed on federal holidays. Children for all day child care may arrive and be picked up at any hour we are open. In the mornings children gather in the downstairs social room from 6:30 a.m. until about 8:00 a.m. Breakfast/snack menu is always posted and breakfast is served from 7:15 a.m.-8:00 a.m., year round. We offer a morning and afternoon snack each day. Children bring their lunches and we can do heat-ups. Milk is available for breakfast and lunch. Water fountains and a water cooler are available throughout the day. All 3 and 4 year old classes receive the fully accredited preschool curriculum included in the tuition cost. The 2 and 3 year old class does The Ounce Scale Series each morning and this preschool curriculum is also included in the tuition. Preschool for all preschool children takes place every morning from 9:00-11:30 a.m. The afternoons consist of rest time where most children fall asleep for approximately 2 hours (times vary according to age). The Center provides a cot and families provide a small pillow and blanket. Children do not have to be potty trained to participate in our Center. The afternoon may include outdoor or indoor physical play, movies, centers, manipulatives, or book time.
